Course Title:  Management Level Overview of MBE


Delivery Type:  Instructor Lead, At MBD360, On Location, or Webinar
Description:  This class will provide students with a high-level overview of what Model – Based Enterprise (MBE) is.  It places an emphasis on the benefits, possible pitfalls, implementation strategies and cultural impacts.  Some of the specific topics include; High-Level Theory, Business Processes, Model-Based Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Need, Supply Chain Integration, Impacts for Small/Medium/Large Organizations, and Adoption Strategies.  While this course is intended for management level practitioners, anyone interested in what a Model – Based Enterprise is encouraged to attend.

Course Title:  The Implementer’s Guide to MBE


Delivery Type: Instructor Lead, At MBD360, On Location, or Webinar
Description:  This class will provide students with tools and techniques for the initial implementation of a Model – Based Enterprise.  These tools will concentrate on the creation and use of technical product and manufacturing data.  Some items that will be discussed are Computer Aided Design model/data set organization, manufacturing data integration, application of current and near-term MBE standards and general discussions on how to rethink business processes to better utilize digital tools.  Future classes in this series will be deep dives in the areas above as well as such topics as manufacturing and Product Lifecycle Management.

Course Title:  Digital Requirements for Additive Manufacturing


Delivery Type:  Instructor Lead, At MBD360, On Location, or Webinar
Description:  This class will provide students with an understanding of what types of digital files and infrastructure is needed to support additive manufacturing.  The purpose of this class is to help organizations to better understand that since additive is basically a digital 3D based process it needs to be supported by 3D data sets.  Once you have those data sets you need to store, control, measure their quality and use them for both machine programming and verification of the final product.
